Shots

Right shots that i've been working on over the last coupla days for feedback.

Shot 3
I havn't added any facial animation to this yet because im not too sure whats gonna be happening with the sound, which is quite heavily involved on this shot, so i'll do more to it when i have a clearer idea of whats happening with that.
Also this starts on frame 25. I've left the first 24 frames until Macho's animated in shot 2 so i know what he's doin and where to pick it up.

Shot 24, need some feedback on this shot. Shouldnt take long to add or change anything.

Shot 4. He does have rocks in his hands but they're parented to the controls which have their visabilty turned off.

Lemme know what you think.
Onto shot 22

  1. Ok some nice stuff here matt, my animation is going not so well atm, its taking me a while to get bk into it but i will get there.

    onto your stuff tho

    shot 3

I think there needs to be a curve/arch in his hands as at the moment the seem pretty normal as hes doing this stretch. If you try doing this stretch yourself, you feel the fingers of your hands clamp together and your hand arch as you push up through the air. The movement you have achieved is good though...maybe there should be a pause or stetch out afterwards as it seems he goes straight to the rocks and starts lifting without a break. As for facial, its the 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2 sorta counting but im not sure you need to lip sync all the sounds for these characters as its just gonna be distracting. Again its like the stitch up characters where we can hear the sounds but not always fully have the mouth movement. There's not really time to go over and fine tune so move onto next shot please.

    Shot 24

I feel this should be a bigger exhale of air, maybe add a bit more of the hoot (wallace and gromit esque lips out) needs to go into a bigger strain as well cos this weight is massive. we need to see those gritted teeth too just like in the story board.
Again this is blocking out quite nicely though so keep up the good work.

    Shot 4.

is fine, again time wont allow for fine tuning so next onto shot 22 for now.

This is all great stuff matt so welldone and keep up the good work.
